Tyreek Hill created buzz around the NFL world when he posted a cryptic tweet following the Miami Dolphins' 20-12 defeat to the Houston Texans on Sunday. The post read, "It's time for me to go coach." The lack of punctuation left the tweet open to interpretation.
Some argued that he meant that it was time for him to leave the Dolphins organization, while some argued that he was taking a dig at his coach, Mike McDaniel, and wanted to say that he was so bad that he would have to take up the coaching mantle.
Hours later, he followed up his initial tweet with another one in which he said that he did not think that his "coach" tweet would blow up.

However, not many football fans think he was being genuine. Many of them called Tyreek Hill out for posting cryptic tweets just to insert himself into online conversations and draw attention to himself.
"Attention whore," one wrote.
Another fan said that Tyreek was only pretending to be surprised when he knew all along the buzz that his tweet would create:
"Nah you knew exactly what you were doing."
Other fans also chimed in with their reactions to his post.
"You blew more than we expected. You're washed," one fan wrote.
"Tyreek really a twitter engagement farmer 💔✌️😭," another fan said.
"Imagine if all of the trolling energy went to jug machine work," one fan remarked.
"Shut up, You knew how that was gonna be taken lol," another fan said.
Tyreek Hill and Mike McDaniel's job security called into question
Tyreek Hill is undoubtedly the leader in Miami when it comes to receiving yards. The wideout has recorded 805 yards and five touchdowns on 67 catches. However, that's way below what he registered in 2023: 1,799 yards.
It's clear that he's going through a slump in production this year. And it's not just the wideout, but the entire Dolphins organization. While last year Mike McDaniel was being praised for coaching an explosive offense, the Dolphins are struggling with a 6-8 record this season.
After the team lost to the Green Bay Packers, former Miami running back Reggie Bush called for McDaniel to be fired. While it's true that the Dolphins also suffered from injuries, particularly their quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, suffering a concussion, even with him back on the field, the offense has been disappointing.
