Baker Mayfield's wife Emily drops 2-word message for Bucs teammates making Pro-Bowl

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is having a standout season, but he wasn't named a starting QB for the NFC team in the Pro Bowl Games. However, two of his teammates were named starters.

Mayfield's wife, Emily, showed her support for Tampa Bay offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs and defensive lineman Vita Vea who were both named to the NFC team. She reshared the post and added that Wirfs and Vea earned the right to represent the Bucs.

"Well deserved," Emily wrote.

Emily Mayfield then shared another post that recognized Baker along with Mike Evans, Lavonte David and Chase McLaughlin as alternates.

The Buccaneers QB was named an alternate for the team and will play if one of the starting QBs makes it to the Super Bowl or decides not to play for any reason. In 16 games this season, Mayfield has thrown 4,279 yards for 39 touchdowns. He needs just one more TD pass in Week 18 to join just 11 QBs in NFL history who have thrown 40 TDs in a season.

Baker Mayfield's wife Emily shared a message of gratitude heading into 2025

On New Year's Eve, Baker Mayfield's wife Emily shared her gratitude for 2024 via an Instagram story. She wrote about how grateful she was to welcome their first child, Kova, who they call Koko.

"Closing out 2024 with nothing but gratitude. I can't believe all that this year has brought. My baby girl - who has opened my world up in the most beautiful way. Life is so much more exciting, yet so much simpler - in the BEST way," Emily captioned.

She also shared her gratitude for spending the holidays with her entire family and getting that time to be together.

"Having a week with my entire family - Mom, Dad, Annie, T, Blue, Ben, Amanda, Sammy, Bake, Koko and Ferg. Everything I could dream of as we welcome in the new year. I can't believe how blessed I am and that this is my life. Thank you, God!!!! Cheers to 2025," Emily wrote.
