The Cincinnati Bengals enter Week 10 with a 4-5 record, and after recently losing Zack Moss to a neck injury, the franchise decided it was time to get Joe Burrow some help on offense. With the trade deadline just a few hours away, the Bengals traded for Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert on Tuesday.
This marked the second trade of the NFL Trade Deadline after the Detroit Lions traded for Cleveland Browns pass rusher Za'Darius Smith.
Bengals fans were understandably hyped after the franchise shored up its offense ahead of a crucial stretch of games. Here's what fans had to say about the trade deadline move:

Other fans also poured in their reactions, expressing how acquiring Herbert was a good move.
"Good pickup," one fan said.
"Another trade that makes so much sense for both sides," another fan said.
"Glad for Herbert. He is better than a lot of these RBs starting now. Chase Brown isn't one of them but at least he will be able to spell him more than in Chicago," a fan said.
Breaking down full details of the Khalil Herbert trade
The Bengals traded a seventh-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft which, on the face of it, appears to have all the hallmarks of a buy-low move. Per Spotrac, Herbert is owed $527,500 this year but is an unrestricted free agent in 2025, which means the Bengals have some leverage here.
With Zack Moss sidelined indefinitely due to a neck injury and Chase Brown dealing with a bruised rib heading into Week 10, Herbert's arrival should be a boost to Cincinnati.
The Bengals will, however, go up against a formidable run defense in Baltimore on Thursday Night Football. The Bengals thoroughly dominated the Raiders on Sunday in a 41- 24 win that led to Antonio Pierce firing several of his coordinators. But with a short turnaround for Thursday's game, the Bengals will have their work cut out for them despite this trade.
