Bijan Robinson has arguably been one of the best running backs in college football this season. The Texas Longhorns star will now be taking his talents to the next level after declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft.
Robinson was fifth in all of college football in rushing yards (1,580 yards) and fourth in touchdowns (18). The junior running back had the most yards from scrimmage this season with 1,894. He was also second in total touchdowns with 20.
He was a consensus All-American and the winner of the Doak Walker Award for college football's top running back. The award made Robinson the fourth Longhorns player to take home the honor. He joins former NFL All-Pro Ricky Williams, former Chicago Bears star Cedric Benson, and current Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman.
Robinson is fourth in Longhorns history with 3,410 career rushing yards and is tied for the eighth-most touchdowns with 33. All signs point to Robinson not suiting up for the team's final game versus the Washington Huskies in the Alamo Bowl. The running back will likely focus on the NFL combine in preparation for next year's draft.
