Bill Belichick may not be coaching in the NFL—at least for now—after his relationship with the New England Patriots ended after the 2023 season. But he has managed to keep himself in the spotlight, mainly by making appearances on football-related television programs but also by posing with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, on social media.
On Thursday, the couple were at it again, posting pictures of themselves on the beach as a fisherman and a mermaid in celebration of Halloween. Hudson uploaded the images on her Instagram account.
The two had first met in 2021 at an autograph session and begun dating in 2022, shortly after Belichick's split from ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday. However, it did not become a source of public attention until shortly after his ouster from the Patriots in January.

Ryan Fitzpatrick teases Bill Belichick over relationship with Jordon Hudson
There has been much groaning about the Bill Belichick-Jordon Hudson relationship, but it seems to have mostly dissipated over the months. Now, whenever there are jabs made at them, it is more of a playful variety.
The latest person to react is former quarterback and current Amazon Prime analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick. Responding to images of Hudson wearing an outfit inspired by the New York Giants (Belichick was the team's defensive coordinator during their 1980s-90s "Big Blue Wrecking Crew" dynasty), he said:
"For all you 48 year old hopeless romantics out there just think your future person may not even be born yet."
In the meantime, reports have surfaced that the two are planning to get married in the future. The Sun recently learned that Belichick had been spotted looking for engagement rings in shops in New York and Los Angeles. An insider said:
"He has to decide very soon because he has to pick between two rings that jewelry designers suggested to him."
The former coach has also been said to be targeting either the Caribbean or Croatia (where his paternal grandparents came from) as the destination of their hypothetical wedding—preferably at the end of the current NFL season when both of them are on break.
"Bill loves the Adriatic coast, the romantic spots and landscapes. He loves to make things special for her," the source said.
Neither party has responded to the matter.
