Tom Brady missed practice over the weekend in preparation for what would be a losing effort against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He wasn't sick or injured. Rather, he was at his former owner's wedding. Speaking on Get Up, Rex Ryan criticized Tom Brady's preparations for the matchup. NFL analyst Mike Greenberg responded to Ryan's indictment of Tom Brady by issuing his own.

Here's what Rex Ryan said:

"This team was dropping balls and missing tackles... They weren't ready [to play] or just brush it off, like, 'Oh, it's okay that your Hall of Fame quarterback missed a practice and a frickin' meeting.' This is not how you play. Tom knows he stands for leadership and this thing right here is on Tom."

Mike Greenberg responded, claiming that since his former head coach wasn't at the wedding, he wouldn't have allowed Brady to go:

"It's as simple as this. Bill Belichick wasn't at this wedding. If Bill Belichick was his coach, would [Tom] have been there Friday night and would Brady have even wanted to go five years ago?"

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost the game against the Steelers 18-20. Brady completed 25 of 40 throws for 243 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. The offense started slow, going into halftime losing 9-10. In the second half, the offense was just as productive, scoring another nine points.

The Steelers were just a little bit more effective, putting up another ten points and ultimately winning 20-18. The Steelers' win comes just one game after losing 38-3 to the Buffalo Bills. During the contest with the Buccaneers, Pittsburgh lost their rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett to a potential concussion. As a result, we saw the return of Mitchell Trubisky, who led Pittsburgh to victory.

The loss shocked fans. The Buccaneers were the favorites for a reason. They have a legendary quarterback and the Steelers were missing several key players. It was an example of Tampa Bay failing to outscore weaker opposition, leading to questions about their offense.

We'll see if they can answer those questions in Week 7 when Tom Brady will look to rebound against the 1-5 Carolina Panthers.
