Bills fans hand Josh Allen's fiancee Hailee Steinfeld a request after 49ers vs Bills

Josh Allen proposed to Hailee Steinfeld during the Buffalo Bills' Week 12 bye week. The singer and actress announced the news on Instagram, and on Sunday, she posed for a picture with a fan at Highmark Stadium. The snap then made its rounds on social media where a common question was asked by many.

While Steinfeld looked happy, her hand was on the glass and her engagement ring wasn't in sight. Since the announcement of their engagement, fans have been anxiously awaiting to see the engagement ring.

Fans commented on the photo on Reddit and X and requested Steinfeld to post a picture of the ring. When she announced their engagement, she only shared a snap of the proposal and not the ring.

Other fans went on to say how she appeared to be "glowing." Some wrote that she looked happy; however, the requests for a photo of the ring continued.

Others had their theory as to when Hailee Steinfeld would reveal her engagement ring. Steinfeld has a newsletter called "Beau Society" that she recently debuted where she shares updates about her life in weekly editions of it. Some fans believe she may reveal the ring in the upcoming newsletter.

Josh Allen downplayed bye week excitement after engagement

Just one day before his engagement was announced, Josh Allen returned to practice with the Buffalo Bills. When Allen spoke to reporters for his weekly media appearance, he was asked how his bye week was. His answer was nonchalant and he downplayed any big and exciting events.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback smiled as he told reporters it was "fantastic" and that he spent time with family and got some sun. Allen left out details from his proposal.

“It was fantastic. It was great. Got some sun, hung out with family. It was fantastic,” Allen said.

Despite the exciting news about his future, Allen now will keep his sights set on a deep playoff run. The Buffalo Bills clinched the division title and a playoff spot during Sunday's win over the San Francisco 49ers.
