Keon Coleman has been pegged to be the Buffalo Bills' next WR1 ever since Stefon Diggs was traded to the Houston Texans during the offseason. And on Monday night, he accomplished a major milestone.
In the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the rookie wide receiver scored his first career touchdown off a midfield pass by Josh Allen:

"And a beautiful one at that!" another fan said.
More of the joy can be seen below:
"He was due for sure!" one proclaimed.
"Why haven't they been targeting him more this season? Ridiculous. (He) is the real deal," another demanded.
"The first of many to come!" another hoped.
The Bills would score another touchdown minutes later, when Khalil Shakir broke a tackle and spilled into the end zone. Running back James Cook and tight end Dalton Kincaid had also made six earlier in the game.
Keon Coleman facing off against former Florida State teammate in Bills-Jaguars game
One of the most intriguing storylines heading into Monday night’s game was how well Keon Coleman would fare against Jarrian Jones.
The two had been teammates at Florida State, where they played major roles in the Seminoles’ unprecedented undefeated ACC run in the 2023 season. A round after the wide receiver went to Orchard Park, the cornerback went to Duval. And Monday marked the first time the two would compete against each other
During last Wednesday’s practice, Jones revealed:
"We usually talk every week, twice a week. He called me after the game we just played [an 18-13 loss to Cleveland] and we kind of talked trash to each other."
He also had praise for the skills of his “brother”, whom he said he could not wait to encounter in an actual game setting after years of showdowns in FSU camp:
"He has a good understanding of how to run routes and overall spacing, where he's supposed to be, how to manipulate his routes, how to get open. He has great ball skills and great ability overall."
The Jaguars have another former Seminole in the secondary in Ronald Darby, who joined the team as a free agent in the offseason.
