Josh Allen has been having a spectacular 2024 NFL season and is currently one of the favorites to win the MVP award for this year. He will be facing off against the other favorite in Lamar Jackson when the Buffalo Bills take on the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs on Sunday.

Despite Allen being under a ton of pressure to make a run at a Super Bowl ring, Bills running back Ty Johnson doesn't believe he is taking things too seriously. In fact, during his appearance on the "Up and Adams" show Friday, he said that his quarterback is known for keeping playful when asked if Allen is ever dead serious:

"I don't know if I've ever seen him really, like actually dead serious. I really don't know, I mean, that's a great question. There's times where, obviously, things aren't maybe going our way early in the game or something, like early in the year. But even then, he still keeps that playful mindset.
"He gets that Josh is Josh. That's what it is, and that's who he is, and that's why he's a great leader. He doesn't let the little stuff always get to him or anything like that. He just goes out there and executes."

Josh Allen's laid-back mindset may have helped the Buffalo Bills to victory in their Wild Card round against the Denver Broncos last week. The Broncos jumped out to an early 7-0 lead after Bo Nix found Troy Franklin for a deep touchdown on the opening drive, but the Bills responded by scoring the remaining 31 points in the game.

Up next for the Bills is seemingly a much larger challenge against the Baltimore Ravens. Allen's attitude may have to be a factor against a team that has already beaten them this year, but his impressive playoff stats suggest he is surely capable of overcoming it.

Whether it's due to his laid-back mindset as outlined by Ty Johnson, or simply his elite talent, Josh Allen has been spectacular in the NFL Playoffs during his career with the Buffalo Bills. Despite a mediocre 6-5 overall record, his individual numbers have been off the charts.

Allen has completed 65 percent of his passes for 23 touchdowns and just four interceptions during those 11 games. He has also added 55 yards per game with another six touchdowns on the ground. While he has made just one trip to the AFC championship game so far, he will make his second appearance if he can get past the Baltimore Ravens.
