Bo Nix's wife Izzy is thrilled about the upcoming Thursday Night Football since if the Denver Broncos win against the Los Angeles Chargers, the team will break their eight-year playoff drought. The last time the Broncos played in the playoffs was in 2015 when the franchise won the Super Bowl 50 title.

Izzy rooted for Nix's Broncos with a powerful message on Instagram. Posting a photo of herself and Bo on the field, she wrote:

"Proud to be a Bronco!!!!!!"

Sunday Night Football worked in the Broncos' favor as Bo Nix helped his team to a win (31-13) over the Indianapolis Colts. While he tossed three touchdown passes, he also threw three interceptions.

Nix completed 20 of 33 throws, for 130 yards. However, the Broncos' entire offense struggled. The Broncos' defense and special teams came up big in the fourth quarter, helping them score 21 points and win the game.

"I've got to be better ... regardless that's three [interceptions], you start feeling like every time I throw it is it going to get picked? You start having those mental thoughts, it's challenging. It's probably the toughest part of playing the position ... don't let one turn into a false vision and see things that aren't actually there," Nix said after the game.

Coach Sean Payton took partial responsibility for Nix’s struggles. He cited play-calling decisions that left the offense one-dimensional.

"I get mad at myself, couple of the calls I gave him," Payton said. "He had one read that he knows better, but look it was just one of those nights when weren't as efficient, especially against a zone defense like that ... there were just a few forced throws and a few dumb calls by me that I've got to be better."

Following the game against the Chargers, the Broncos' remaining games are against AFC contenders: the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs. Both have strong pass defenses. In that case, Bo Nix must work on his rookie hurdles and lead the offense with better consistency.
