After a stellar performance last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, where the Denver Broncos clinched their first playoff spot since 2015, the quarterback will next face the No. 2-ranked Buffalo Bills in the AFC wild card round on Sunday.

Bo Nix, who was the 12th overall pick in the 2024 draft, broke Peyton Manning’s franchise record for single-game completion percentage. Additionally, he became the first rookie QB since John Elway to lead the Broncos to the postseason.

Currently, the Broncos are entering as the AFC’s No. 7 seed.

Bo Nix's wife Izzy's reaction to Broncos’ historic playoff comeback

After the Denver Broncos ended their eight-season playoff drought last Sunday, Bo Nix's wife shared her thoughts on Instagram, writing:

“Only God.”

Alongside this, she posted an image of Empower Field illuminated by fireworks, as the stadium's jumbotron declared, “2024 Playoffs WE’RE IN!”

In another post, she posed alongside fellow Broncos players’ wives.

The Broncos' win against the Kansas City Chiefs was historic for another reason. The team pulled off a shutout win over the Chiefs, their first since 1984.

“If we’re going to make it, we might as well go win some games,’’ Nix said on Wednesday, talking about Denver's first playoff spot since 2015. (h/t The Gazette)

Giving his take on his first playoff game, he added:

“We’ve been playing competitive games trying to get to the playoffs for a few weeks now, so it’s been playoff time. So we just have to go out there and do what we’ve been doing. Nothing needs to be more intense because we’ve been practicing tough, we’ve been playing tough.”

Izzy’s support for her husband has been a highlight throughout their relationship. The couple met at Auburn University, where Bo played quarterback, and Izzy was a cheerleader. When Bo transferred schools in 2022, Izzy also relocated to Oregon, leaving behind her hometown.

Now married, Izzy has been a cheerleader for her husband as he transitioned from NCAA Football to NFL.
