After finding out about Chubb's unavailability, Miami fans were a little worried. They pointed out how crucial he is to Miami's defensive success, as he recorded 11 sacks for the team last season.
Others pointed out that Chubb will miss some key games against some tough opponents with his injury.
"Dolphins face @ Jags, @ Bills, vs Seattle, @ Tenessee to start the season. Thankfully Jaelen Phillips is a freak and will be back but that’s a tough first month with no Chubb," one fan replied.
"He had 11 sacks last season. Tough," one fan wrote.
"Speedy recovery for Chubb. Dolphins need him back fast for that D," a fan said.
With Chubb being sidelined for the time being, Dolphins fans are anticipating rookie Chob Robinson's debut.
The team selected Robinson with the 21st-overall pick in this year's draft and he was one of the first defesnive players taken. Robinson had four sacks for the Penn State Nittany Lions this past season as a junior. Fans are hoping he can flll in the void left by Chubb while he is sidelined.

Newly-acquired Miami Dolphins WR Odell Beckham Jr. could begin the seaosn on the PUP list
The Miami Dolphins are pretty banged up. They put three players on the PUP list this morning, less than two weeks away from the regular season.
Head coach Mike McDaniel said that the team also thought about placing newly acquired wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on the PUP list. When he named the guys on the PUP list, a reporter asked about OBJ's status, to which McDaniel responded that it is to be determined.
There haven't been any major devolpments on what exactly Beckham Jr. is dealing with, but it's kept him sidelined this pre-season.
If OBJ were to be placed on the PUP list, it would be another big hit to the Miami Dolphins.
