Tom Brady makes history in win over Rams
Not only did the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback have a game-winning drive, but he also made some more history this week.
He became the first quarterback in NFL history to rack up over 100,000 passing yards. The former New England Patriots star currently has 100,116 yards.
He has over 14,000 more than former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who has 85,724 career yards.
In terms of active quarterbacks, the Buccaneers quarterback has over 35,700 more than Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Ryan.
Prior to the start of the 2022-2023 season, he had 13 seasons of over 4,000 yards passing in a season. This includes throwing for 5,316 yards in the 2021-2022 season, the most in his NFL career.
Since he's eclipsed over 100K career passing yards, could he next reach another milestone this season? The three-time All-Pro currently has 720 career touchdowns and is 30 shy of 750.
So far, he has 10 touchdowns, meaning Brady's 33 touchdowns away from reaching 43, which led the league last season.
The Buccaneers are sitting pretty atop the NFC South thanks to Brady's comeback victory with a 4-5 record.
It will be intriguing to see if the five-time Super Bowl MVP can make a touch more history in the 2022-2023 season.
