Tom Brady and Baker Mayfield might be at odds regarding the former's locker room approach. Previously with the New England Patriots, Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and won them the Super Bowl, ultimately retiring with the team.

However, Mayfield, in a podcast appearance, said the team was 'stressed' due to Brady's approach. As per the current Bucs QB, the team was welcoming and wanted to have more fun.

Brady was quick to respond, questioning Mayfield's fun-focused approach.

“I thought stressful was not having Super Bowl rings. This wasn’t daycare. ... If I was going to have fun, I was going to Disneyland with my kids," Brady said.

Fans online, of course, were quick to respond.

"Sounds like one of the greatest winners in football explaining why he's divorced," one fan said.
"He’s lying we know he don’t like his f*cking kids …." another user added.
"Where are your kids now Tom? Giselle took them because you lost millions in a crypto scam," one user said.
"Ppl are misunderstanding on purpose again," one user said.

Brady's fans, on the other hand, supported him.

"Baker needs to win a superbowl first to have any credibility when it comes to Brady," one user wrote.
"Brady is so petty and I'm here for it. Talk your sh*t," one fan added.

Some even called out his commentary.

"Brady is as bad at commentary as he was good at playing," one fan added.

Baker Mayfield responds to Tom Brady's comments after Bucs-Eagles game

Baker Mayfield was quick to respond to Tom Brady's comments. The Bucs QB added that no comment was personal, and many things were taken out of context.

"A lot of that was taken out of context. None of it was personal. … He did it his own way and that’s why he had seven rings," Mayfield said.

His original comments were from the 'Case de Klub' podcast.

Referring to Tom Brady's style as 'different,' Mayfield added how the Bucs building wasn't the same with the seven-time Super Bowl champion there.

Mayfield joined the Bucs in 2023, after Brady retired.

Brady is yet to respond to Mayfield's final comments.
