On Thursday evening, Brown tweeted two lines which appear to be from a song or possibly a poem that says that people are supposed to support each other or, 'straighten each others crowns' and not 'knock each other down'.

Others said that recently retired quarterback Tom Brady tried to show him support and give him a chance when others wouldn't. Even convincing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to sign the wide receiver in 2020 after he was released by the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots.

That season, the wide receiver won his first Super Bowl ring as the Buccaneers won Super Bowl LV at home. Yet, Brady was one of the first people that Brown decided to turn his back on.

The replies to Brown's tweets essentially all agreed to the point that Antonio Brown commenting on supporting others is ironic considering his track record the last few years.

Antonio Brown announced big move earlier this year

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown announced in March that he had become part owner of the Indoor Football League's Albany Empire. The team that his father played for during his career.

Brown is now a part owner, and plans to be an involved owner. His father, Eddie was also named the Vice President of Football Operations for the team. And, apparently, he wasn't kidding. Earlier this week, the 34-year-old announced that he will be moving to Saratoga, New York to be closer to the team.

It was also announced that Albany Empire head coach Tom Menas, who led the team to back-to-back championships in 2021 and 2022 was relieved of his duties, effective immediately. There was no reason given as to why Menas was let go of his head coaching position. The team also announced that Damon Ware was hired as the interim head coach.

The former NFL wide receiver also said that he won't be afraid to suit up for the Empire this season if need be. The Albany Empire will open its season on April 16, 2023, so there is sure to be plenty of action this season from the team now that it is under new ownership.
