The restoration of TikTok service in the U.S. sparked reactions across social media platforms on Sunday. Rochelle, the girlfriend of San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, joined the conversation with a playful Instagram story caption.
"Donald you slick guy," Rochelle wrote.
Her lighthearted response came after President-elect Donald Trump announced his plans to revive TikTok's access in the United States. The platform had stopped working for U.S. users on Saturday before facing a complete shutdown over national security concerns.
The social media platform proved crucial for Rochelle in recent months. She previously used TikTok to share detailed updates about Aiyuk's severe knee injury, which he suffered in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Trump's intervention arrived at a pivotal time. TikTok confirmed the service restoration via a message to users.
"As a result of President Trump's efforts, TikTok is back in the U.S.," TikTok announced on Sunday.
The timing holds special significance for Rochelle, who has actively documented Aiyuk's recovery journey on social media since his October injury required extensive surgery.
Brandon Aiyuk's road to recovery continues
Brandon Aiyuk, the $120 million (per Spotrac) 49ers wide receiver, faces an extended rehabilitation period. San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan shared positive news about his progress, noting the receiver has returned to the team facility for his recovery work.
"He went to L.A. for surgery, did the rehab there for a while, but he's been back here like the last month or so going through his process, working hard," Shanahan told the media in December.
Rochelle previously revealed the full extent of Aiyuk's injuries through a TikTok video.
"It was a bit more severe than expected. MCL tear, ACL tear, multiple meniscus tears," Rochelle said in December.
Aiyuk, who earned All-Pro honors in 2023, finished his shortened 2024 season with 25 receptions for 374 yards in seven games. These numbers added to his excellent career totals of 294 catches, 4,305 yards and 25 touchdowns across 69 games.
While no clear timeline exists for Aiyuk's return to the field, the 49ers remain cautious with their star receiver's rehabilitation. His presence at the team facility signals positive progress in what Shanahan described as "a long process."
