Braxton Berrios' girlfriend Alix Earle recalls 'devastating' experience during LA wildfire

Following New Year celebrations with boyfriend Braxton Berrios, Alix Earle traveled to Los Angeles with plans to stay in the city for almost a month. However, the SI model found herself in the middle of an evacuation after the wildfire in LA County started to spread and caused an emergency situation.

In the latest episode of her "Hot Mess" podcast, Earle recalled her "devastating" evacuation experience and how she had to leave her accommodation with her friends. Talking about trying her best to help the victims of the LA County wildfire, the SI model said:

"I am back in LA right now. We had just been gone for about a week. I know I told you guys I was coming here, moving here for the month, and then obviously, the fires had broke out here. So we decided to leave and we left with a few of my friends who were in like a mandatory evacuation zone." (0:05)

"It's been really, really devastating what's been happening here. So I've been trying to do my best to, like, give back, help with any resources I can. And it's been really nice just seeing the LA Community come together," Earle further added.

Talking about the LA wildfire, Airbnb last week announced its initiative to help the victims of this crisis by providing temporary shelters. Alix Earle was impressed with the initiative and took to her Instagram to show her support for the same.

“Just saw that Airbnb is offering housing to people who need place to stay. You can also donate or offer to host if you have a place in a safe area.”

On Wednesday, Alix Earle took to Instagram to share her well-wishes for the victims of the LA wildfire who had lost their houses, families and loved ones. Praying for the safety of the victims, all while encouraging fans to help such people, Earle wrote:

"Praying for everyone right now in the fire. This is so heartbreaking. We lost power last night but are in a safe zone as of now. Please take precaution & let's all help one another at this time."

Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle had celebrated the New Year together in a luxurious yacht during their tropical vacation to Saint Barthelemy. Earle later shared her best memories from the vacation with fans on her Instagram. However, the wildfires have changed the mood of the country from a celebratory one to sombre.
