Breece Hall began the 2023 season with a limited role as he was easing back onto the field after his big knee injury a year ago.

The New York Jets signed running back Dalvin Cook this off-season and many thought the backfield would be split. Cook has been having a down season, recording only 109 rushing yards on 39 carries, averaging 2.8 yards per carry.

Hall has 66 carries for 426 yards, averaging 6.5 yards per carry. He also has 113 yards on 13 receptions.

Hall is the clear-cut No. 1 running back in New York, and as he continues to get healthier, he will likely see an increase in volume. The second-year running backis on pace to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards this season.
