On Monday, tragedy struck in Wisconsin, as a school shooting left three dead, including students, and several others wounded. The incident took place at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison and was allegedly carried out by a 15-year-old female student.

Hall of Famer Brett Favre, who spent 15 years in Wisconsin during his time with the Green Bay Packers, was shocked to learn about the incident and expressed his condolences to the victims' families and loved ones.

In a post on X, Favre wrote:

"Heard about the Wisconsin shooting… Always hard to fathom a tragedy like this. All I can say is my thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by it; wish things like this never happened."

Brett Favre's heartfelt message for Grant DuBose

This was the second time over the past two days that Brett Favre was moved by a tragic incident. On Sunday, the quarterback felt his stomach churn after Miami Dolphins' Grant DuBose took a brutal shot to the head in his team's loss to the Houston Texans.

The wide receiver stayed on the floor and had to be carted off the field after receiving medical assistance. Head coach Mike McDaniel revealed DuBose has movement in all his extremities but stayed in the hospital in Houston overnight for further evaluation.

Favre expressed concern for the wide receiver's well-being, shared a message with his loved ones, and reminded everyone how dangerous football can be. He posted:

"Football can be a thing of beauty and brutal at the same time. Unfortunately, this is the latter. Prayers for Grant and his family."

Favre is well aware of the ill effects of football. In September, the Hall of Famer revealed that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's which was likely caused by the head injuries he suffered during his time in the league. DuBose's injury was a relatable experience for the former Packers quarterback, explaining why he got emotional over it.
