Raiders players praise Brock Bowers
Brock Bowers was a star for the Las Vegas Raiders and blew his teammates away with his skill. The former Georgia Bulldogs star became one of the best tight ends in the NFL in his debut season.
"He's a stud," Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby said of Bowers, via ESPN. "Since the day he got here, he's been quiet, confident, just a baller. He's already one of the better tight ends in the league. He catches everything, runs through tackles, makes people miss. He's a complete package. I love that he's on our team."
Bowers also ended his first season in the league by being named to the Pro Football Writers of America's All-NFL and All-AFC teams. According to the PFWA, Bowers was the only rookie to make the list. He also became the first rookie tight end to make the All-NFL squad since the Philadelphia Eagles' Keith Jackson in 1988.
Bowers will be under control for three more years with a club option for a fourth season.
