It was a tale of agony for Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens as they fell to a 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round showdown at Orchard Park. For a while at the end, it looked like Jackson had found his mojo after slipping up early in the game.

Late in the fourth, Jackson led a drive that totaled 88 yards. That drive culminated in an Isaiah Likely touchdown. With 1:33 left, the Ravens opted to go for the two-point play and with tight end Mark Andrews wide-open, Jackson made the call to go right at his trusted lieutenant. Andrews, however, dropped it right at the goal line, essentially condemning the Ravens to defeat.

More than a few athletes had something or the other to say about the Ravens after they crashed out of the playoffs. Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II stopped short of placing the blame on Jackson.

"Damn man Lamar couldn't have done any better," Surtain tweeted.

Surtain, who signed a four-year, $96 million extension with Denver, was a key part of the Broncos team that made the playoffs in rookie QB Bo Nix's first year in the league.

It's also pertinent to note that the Ravens were without their top wide receiver - Zay Flowers.

Flowers suffered a knee injury in Baltimore's regular-season finale against Cleveland and did not suit up in the Wild Card Round or the Divisional Round.

Should Lamar Jackson's Baltimore Ravens be in panic mode after exiting the playoffs?

As things stand, it's unlikely that head coach John Harbaugh's future will be called into question. Few head coaches are fired after making it to the Divisional Round, after all.

That said, the Ravens' postseason record has been a cause for concern. After the loss to the Bills, the Ravens are now 3-5 in the playoffs with Lamar Jackson under center, prompting questions over whether the two-time MVP has what it takes to put the offense on his back when it's crunch time.

The Ravens also brought Derrick Henry to town in an effort to add another dimension to the offense. While that worked wonders in the regular season, Henry failed to 100 rushing yards against the Bills, though he did go off for 186 yards and two scores against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round.

It's also entirely possible that Harbaugh will have to look at a new offensive coordinator for next season since Todd Monken has been getting a lot of interest from head coaching vacancies around the league.
