Russell Wilson's 2022 NFL season with the Denver Broncos didn't live up to anyone's expectations. The QB struggled to carry the team to the playoffs, earning criticism from fans and analysts.
However, as the new season approaches, Wilson seems to be gearing up for another chance, but Broncos fans, on their end, aren't convinced.
"Never been more glad I put my Faith in Jesus!" Wilson tweeted.

Though a few fans tweeted in support, a few remained apprehensive of the upcoming season and even brought up Ciara's ex, Future, threatening to bring him in to play if Russell doesn't perform.
Others agreed, wondering if Wilson would need Future to pickup a few other things along the way. Of course, the tweet could be a subtle dig at Ciara, who dated and had a kid with the rapper before meeting Russell Wilson.
Future has also mentioned being uncomfortable with Wilson's presence in his son Future Jr.'s life.
Another fan took a dig at Ciara, referencing her Oscars dress while demanding to know where the younger Russ was.
Ciara and Wilson made an appearance at the Oscars together, with the singer wearing a bold, bejeweled halter dress. A few followers were unhappy with her choice, asking her to dress appropriately.
Ciara's ex, Future was uncomfortable with Russell Wilson's presence in his son's life
Ciara's breakup with Future was a public affair. A common factor was their son Future Jr., who bonded with Russell Wilson after he met Ciara.
The rapper disagreed with Ciara's new relationship, especially when it involved their son. While talking to The Breakfast Club, Future said:
“You don’t bring a man around your son. You’ve known this man for a few months and you’re bringing him around your kid? Who does that?”
Wilson, on his end, has continued to grow his bond with Future Jr.
The Broncos QB recently shared a heartfelt caption for their son, making sure to mention how much the nine-year-old means to him. He wrote:
"You are the greatest blessing in the world to me! The number 8 represents new beginnings Biblically! I can’t wait to see how God uses you this year! Mommy, Daddy, Sienna, and Win love you to Heaven and back!"
