Former Denver Broncos star and three-time Super Bowl champion Mark Schlereth took a jab at quarterback Lamar Jackson. On his Stinkin' Truth podcast, Schlereth refuted the notion that the Ravens do not surround Jackson with weapons.

Schlereth even said the Ravens have been drafting receivers to help out Jackson but he hasn't done a good job developing them as a quarterback. This caused a local Ravens reporter, Sarah Ellison, to fire back at Schlereth while defending Jackson.

Ellison said Schlereth is pinning the Ravens' history of drafting bad receivers/not being able to develop them all on Jackson.

Schlereth responded:

"Speaking of moving the goalposts Sarah, so you’re comparing 21 years Ravens history were they drafted three receivers in the first round. versus a five year span where they took three receivers in the first round?

"During those 21 years at your complaining about they won two Super Bowls… how about you miss me with that garbage."

Schlereth isn't having any Lamar Jackson-defending nonsense. He seems content with his take that Jackson has been given the talent around him to win a Super Bowl and the onus is on the QB to bring home the Lombardi Trophy.

In his first two postseasons in 2018 and 2019, Jackson and the Ravens suffered first-round exits, giving him a 0-2 start to his postseason career. The following season, the Ravens earned a victory in the playoffs against the Tennessee Titans but lost to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round.

Jackson led the Ravens to the playoffs in 2022 but didn't play in their playoff loss as he was injured. This past season, the Ravens earned a 34-10 victory against the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

Overall, Jackson has a 2-4 playoff record and a 58-19 regular-season record.
