Dondrea Tillman has spent the past three seasons in the UFL with the Birmingham Stallions, and all he has done is win. The elite defensive lineman helped them to achieve three consecutive league championships. He was a major contributor for their defense, totaling 96 tackles and 8.5 sacks along the way.

His proven success in the UFL has apparently earned Tillman another look in the NFL. He will reportedly work out for the Denver Broncos, who are rumored to be interested in signing him to their roster. If they do so, he could join the team for training camp and compete for a spot on their roster ahead of the 2024 NFL season.

Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette reported the news from his personal X account, crediting ML Football as the original source. Tomasson also reported a quote from Tillman's agent Marty Magid, who pointed out that his client is desired by NFL teams right now.

Magid said:

"This year he really put it together. We had three or four teams interested in him, and we're sending him to Denver first."

Dondrea Tillman really got things rolling in the later stages of the UFL season, helping the Birmingham Stallions win their third consecutive championship. He did so by totaling 12 tackles and 2.5 sacks across his final three games. This won't be the first time that his skillset has earned him a look in the NFL, but maybe this time around it will earn him a contract.

Dondrea Tillman played his college football career in NCAA Division II with the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He posted dominant numbers as an edge rusher, totaling 172 tackles and 28 sacks. His impressive production reportedly made him a potential prospect ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft, but he unfortunately went undrafted.

The defensive lineman then gained some interest from NFL teams as a potential undrafted free agent signing. He reportedly worked out for the Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons, but failed to secure a contract. This resulted in him joining the Conquerers in the developmental TSL in 2021 to further showcase his skillset.

His strategy apparently paid off when the Birmingham Stallions selected him in the third round of the 2022 UFL Draft. He turned in three strong seasons there, which has apparently earned him another look in the NFL. The Denver Broncos will reportedly have the first opportunity to sign him ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
