Fresh off signing a huge contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings, Justin Jefferson became one of the richest players in the NFL. As such, he now has more than enough money to leave his $405k townhouse and buy a better house to call home now.

While a sea of opportunities has opened up for the wide receiver, how to use the money is always an important point - don't spew everything just because you can now. And one piece of advice, perhaps unexpected, has arrived on houses. The guy helping him? Cam Newton.

(45:08) "Rule number one when you get the f**king bag, never purchase a house where you got the country at... if you want to splurge on something, splurge on what you can't foresee you always going back to. In-season house and off-season house, two different houses, you got the money to do it. In-season house, $2M, and off-season house, $10M.

Fans got a closer look into Jetta's house after he appeared on Netflix's series Receiver. He told reporters that he lived in a small house because he had no big family and was happy with what he had.

What's the new deal signed by Justin Jefferson?

Justin Jefferson signed a record-breaking deal in the NFL on Monday, extending his stay with the Minnesota Vikings on a four-year, $140 million deal that makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL, a totally deserved accolade for the wide receiver.

Jefferson's production across his rookie contract can't be denied by any means. Not only has he become the best wide receiver in the league, but he was able to put in four consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards, even if he missed seven games in 2023 due to an injury.

More than just a market reset, Jefferson's deal is interesting given the outlook for the pending extensions of CeeDee Lamb and Brandon Aiyuk – they won't demand the same average of $35 million per year, but less than $30 million is impossible to imagine at this point.

The recent expectation is of a $33 million average for Lamb. Still, not close to the best receiver in the league.
