Cam Newton isn't one to back away from sharing his thoughts and opinions. His latest thoughts come after the United States men's basketball team won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

While the team, comprised of All-Star NBA players, was filled with talent, rumors have circulated about some players who weren't on the roster. Conspiracy theories about Nike being influential in roster decisions have been floated on social media.

“Even though that is something to think it’s a conspiracy, I don’t think it’s that. It’s easy for somebody to look back and take and plug and play certain things," Newton said on his "4th&1" YouTube show.

Newton also said that in today's day and age, it's easy for people to really divulge the possibility of a conspiracy.

“We live in a world where conspiracy theories happen after only it already happened. Anybody can go back and be like that. You can’t think too deep into this stuff," Newton added.

Cam Newton extends invitation to Skip Bayless who exited "Undisputed"

Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton hasn't agreed with much of Skip Bayless' analysis throughout the years. Upon learning of the latter's announcement to depart from FS1's "Undisputed," Newton invited him to join his "4th&1" YouTube show as a recurring guest.

“Come on down to the '4th&1.' Come on, jump on the show. Listen, this is a real invite. I come to you as a humble friend, asking you to settle our differences. I know that there's an ego the size of the world on your side. I'm a person that would just like to make good TV and good content. I think me and you can make that happen,” Newton said. (1:07:00)

Cam Newton also offered to compensate Bayless for his appearance on the show.

“So, as they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure," Newton added. "I promise you, if you give me the opportunity, five shows, Skip, that's all I ask, five. I will compensate you and Ernestine the best I know how, and I will appreciate you and you talking about debates.
"Oh, my goodness. Skip, if you give me that opportunity to spar with you verbally, it will be something that you will enjoy just as much as the people would.”

It's unknown if the 72-year-old longtime analyst will take Cam Newton up on his offer.
