Cam Newton had some advice for NFL legend Michael Irvin's son, Tut Tarantino, after the artist fired back at his father for some of the comments he had made. The former Super Bowl-winning wide receiver had joked about how his son wanted to rap about the hard life despite growing up in comfort in a big house and a gated community.
But the rapper was taking none of it saying that his house was not as big as Michael Irvin had claimed.
That riled up Cam Newton who said that Tut Tarantino should give more respect to his father for what he has done. The quarterback asked the rapper to be truthful to his life instead of chasing the latest trends. On the 4th-and-1 Show, the former MVP said,
"That man clothed you, took care of you. I don't give a f**k it was one square feet. No, bro, not like that, bro. I see what you trying to do. You trying to get the bear off your back, but you trying to discredit what your father said.

"Bro, stop it, bro. Live in your truth. Rap about your truth. Don't rap about what the trend is. Don't talk about a dress like what the trend is. It's okay to be you, bro. You don't gotta put on a perception of something."
Cam Newton then took aim at the current generation who want to pretend to be hard. He blasted Tut Tarantino and asked him to acknowledge the life Michael Irvin gave him was a blessing. The former Panthers players continued,
"I had a sweet a*s life. N**a it was a house bro. We gotta stop. This generation is f*ked bro. Everybody want to be [hard]. Just because of your circumstance, that's a blessing, bro. [People that's rapping] trying to get to where you're at. Use that. Talk about that. That's plenty to talk about. How you not on the football field but in the booth."
Cam Newton gives Tut Tarantino a reality check after his response to Michael Irvin

What the above video leaves out and that was shown on the former MVP's podcast was that there is no malice from Michael Irvin's side on this. The doting dad had previously gifted his son an Audi, seeing which the quarterback set off on his long advice for the rapper.
