Ladd McConkey plays terrific gameplay for a TD
McConkey scored a touchdown in the 3rd quarter of the Sunday afternoon game at SoFi Stadium with 8:54 left on the clock. On 2nd & nine, he leaped into the air to catch a throw from Justin Herbert right in front of CB Alontae Taylor, followed by a 360-degree turn to avoid a tackle.
A long run followed this as he rushed past the Saints defense. McConkey was agile enough to avoid them as he rushed over 40 yards to score his first touchdown of the night. This was a critical moment in the game, as the Chargers only had a lead of four.
McConkey was then seen celebrating with fellow WR Simi Fehoko, jumping with his hands in the air. But neither the Chargers nor McConkey were done, as they still had more gas in the tank.
McConkey’s impressive gameplay helped the Chargers secure a healthy lead heading into the last quarter of the game, with 10 more points in the final quarter thanks to another touchdown from McConkey.
