Marquise Brown releases statement after season-ending shoulder injury

Marquise Brown took to X to release his thoughts on the matter, writing that he was deeply frustrated but was reposing his faith in God and saw it as part of a larger plan. He commented,

"Disappointed , frustrated, and Sad was the first wave of emotions once I realized I would need surgery but that only lasted a day or so because Of my Faith in God. Knowing that this to [sic] shall pass , no matter the great opportunity I had in front of me. It’s not over and that’s not the path God wanted for me and I’m perfectly fine with that now"

He went on to conclude by hoping that his positivity in the face of these challenges would inspire others and said that he looked forward to returning soon.
