Chiefs star Chris Jones invokes God in response to Tyreek Hill’s ‘worst enemy’ warning to Patrick Mahomes and co.

There seems to be no love lost between the Kansas City Chiefs and wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The Chiefs made the surprising move to trade the star receiver to the Miami Dolphins in a blockbuster trade last offseason.

The two will meet this season as the Chiefs and Dolphins will play each other during the 2023 season. Hill warned the Chiefs that he's going to be their biggest nightmare, which caused star DT Chris Jones to respond on Twitter.

"May God bless him."

Here's Hill calling the Chiefs out yesterday in an interview with 810 Sports:

“Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gone do? Guess what we gone do? I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all, I hate to do it. But guess what? I’m gonna be y’all’s worst enemy that day. The signs, the signals, I know every signal you all got.”

The Chiefs and Dolphins had two of the most explosive offenses last season. It will be an intriguing matchup between the two, and it's being fueled even more by Hill and Jones' latest comments.

Revisiting the Miami Dolphins-Kansas City Chiefs trade for Tyreek Hill

Last season, the Kansas City Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in one of the biggest blockbuster trades of recent years.

In a surprise move, the Dolphins sent the Chiefs their 2022 first-round pick, a 2022 second-round pick, two fourth-round picks, and a 2023 sixth-round pick.

Upon arriving in Miami, Hill signed a record-breaking four-year $120 million contract.

The trade ended up working out for both teams. The Chiefs cleared up cap space and were able to draft many younger, cheaper players, while the Dolphins got one of if not the best deep threat wide receivers in the NFL.

Patrick Mahomes had another MVP season. He secured his second Super Bowl with the Chiefs while Hill set career-highs in receptions (119) and yards (1,710) while being named a first-team All-Pro.

You could argue that the Chiefs won the trade because they clinched the Super Bowl, but Hill has made Miami one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL. He is part of arguably the best WR duo in the league with Jaylen Waddle.

There's certainly more to come from Hill and Miami, and it's possible we will see it in the 2023 season.
