NFL fans have noticed that Patrick Mahomes has a doppelganger in Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola. The latter has chosen a similar style to his pregame looks this season, which makes him a true lookalike of the three-time Super Bowl champion.

Mahomes said that while it makes him feel 'old' to watch Raiola play, he knows the University of Nebraska quarterback quite well. A to Z Sports' Charles Goldman wrote on X:

#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes says he knows "Lil Cuzzo" aka Nebraska QB Dylan Raiola and trains with him during the offseason: "I think he's going to make his own stamp on the game."

Raiola not only shares a similar style to that of Mahomes, he also wears the same #15 jersey number as the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

Dylan Raiola has made quite an impact on the Nebraska Cornhuskers so far in 2024. He has completed 42-of-57 passes for 423 yards and three touchdowns.

Patrick Mahomes clears the air on political views

Patrick Mahomes' press availability didn't have much to do with how the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for Week 2. While the Chiefs are gearing up to face the Cincinnati Bengals, Mahomes was asked a variety of questions. He was asked about Dylan Raiola, the Super Bowl halftime show, Tyreek Hill's detainment and his political views.

Mahomes' wife, Brittany, caused a stir when she liked one of Donald Trump's posts on Instagram. Taylor Swift, who has become friends with Brittany since she began dating Travis Kelce last year, endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday night.

The quarterback said he doesn't choose to discuss his views.

“I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way,” Mahomes said (h/t Associated Press). “I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote. It’s to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”

Mahomes also said that he doesn't judge others by their political views. He sees how they treat others, and to him, that is a big factor in whom he spends his time.
