There is a Kansas City Chiefs superfan known for attending most of the games and dressing like a wolf. He's a popular figure at the games and has become a huge part of the fanbase. He was just recently arrested for armed robbery.

Xavier Michael Babudar was arrested Friday morning, and police had this to say, according to The Fan:

"Police responded to an armed robbery happening at the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union in Bixby, Okla., with an eyewitness giving a description of the suspect along with the direction he fled, according to Emily Farris of 2 News Oklahoma. FOX 23 reports that Bixby police set up a perimeter and arrested the suspect, who had a weapon and large amounts of cash on him. No physical injuries to bank employees or witnesses were reported."

He is officially being charged with five crimes and his bond is currently set at $200,000.

Did Chiefs superfan rob banks to fund travels?

After the arrest, many speculated that Babudar did not have the money to travel to the game against the Houston Texans. He then posted to his Twitter account later that he would be making the trip after all.

In light of the arrest, fans are wondering whether there's a connection to his bank robberies and attendance at the team's road games. He was also in Denver for the matchup with the Broncos earlier this season.

The bank he robbed is on the way from Kansas City to Houston, which makes the idea that he stopped to rob the bank to pay for the trip a little less outrageous.

Everything he has done is now in question. He's a common guest at Chiefs charity events and often buys items, though it's possible that it could have been done with stolen money.
