New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave attempted to catch a pass from quarterback Derek Carr across the middle of the field during Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. In the attempt, he sustained a head injury and lay on the ground for several minutes as the Saints' medical staff tended to him.
He was then placed on a backboard and taken off the field on the back of a cart. He gave his teammates high-fives as he was driven off the field.
Former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas was quick to share his thoughts on the pass from Carr, which he believed put Olave in danger.
Olave's brother, Josh, agreed with Thomas' sentiments and re-shared the post on X.

Josh Olave then confirmed that his brother was doing well as he had just received a phone call from him.
"Bro just called, he's up and active," Josh Olave wrote on X
Chris Olave will land on the concussion protocol for the fourth time in just three years. It would also be his second concussion this season, following a head injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in October that ruled him out of the subsequent game against the Denver Broncos.
Michael Thomas blamed Derek Carr for Chris Olave's injury
Michael Thomas was released by the New Orleans Saints in March, but his history with quarterback Derek Carr dates back to last season. Thomas reportedly accused Carr of putting him in harm's way. He then took to X and said he would have surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in 2023 if it weren't for Carr. It's no surprise that Thomas was quick to blame Carr for Olave's injury.
After Chris Olave was carted off the field on Sunday afternoon, Michael Thomas took to X and again aired his grievances about the quarterback.
The former New Orleans Saints wide receiver accused Carr of panicking and throwing the ball with no care.
"Dude scary and panic and just throw the ball. Get him the f out of here he so a**," Thomas wrote on X
Thomas claimed that Carr said he was jealous of Chris Olave when the wide receiver became WR1.
"Dude tried to lie and say I was jealous of them making Chris WR1 whole time he can’t even get him a decent ball. He need his a** whooped."
After being released by the Saints in March, Michael Thomas remains a free agent.
