Saturday's slate of playoff games offered NFL fans a few looks at some candidates who could be head coaches next season. To start with, Kansas City Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo and Houston Texans OC Bobby Slowik dueled in the first game of the day as the Chiefs came out on top in a game mired in controversy.

The Washington Commanders vs. Detroit Lions game that followed offered fans a look at how Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury, Lions OC Ben Johnson, and DC Aaron Glenn go about their business.

The Saints have been strongly linked with Glenn, a man widely tipped to land a big job in the 2025 season. Sportskeeda's NFL insider Tony Pauline also reported league sources believe Glenn will end up in The Big Easy. However, Glenn's beat-up Detroit defense struggled to contain Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin and Co. as the Commanders effected a major upset win over Detroit.

After the game, Saints WR Chris Olave's brother Josh made his stance clear on Glenn. Josh Olave tweeted:

"Nvm smh, want Kliff, Brady, or Moore now pls."

The Saints WR's brother was referring to Joe Brady, who is currently the Bills' OC and Kellen Moore, the Eagles' OC, who will also be in action later today when Philadelphia takes on the Los Angeles Rams.

Kliff Kingsbury was slated to interview with the Saints before the Commanders' Saturday showdown against the Lions. However, the former Arizona Cardinals head coach postponed all his interviews to focus on the matchup against the NFC's top seed.

In the meanwhile, the Saints have interviewed interim head coach Darren Rizzi, Aaron Glenn, New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, and Bills OC Joe Brady.

Since Detroit is now out of the playoffs, the Saints don't have to wait any longer to put an offer on the table for Aaron Glenn. However, Glenn has also been linked with the vacant head coaching job at the New York Jets. He is also set to interview with the Dallas Cowboys, who fired Mike McCarthy earlier this week.
