Christian McCaffrey's mother Lisa expressed pride after her younger son Luke advanced to the Divisional Round. On Sunday night, the Washington Commanders defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC playoffs' wild-card round and advanced to the Divisional Round. It was a memorable moment for the McCaffrey family.
Christian McCaffrey's mother Lisa put up a post on her Instagram account about Luke with a caption filled with pride. She posted three pictures, one of which included the McCaffrey brothers, Luke and Christian, hugging each other to celebrate the memorable moment.
Sharing the snaps, Lisa wrote in the caption:
"We are all so proud of you, Luke! #brothers ❤️"

When Christian McCaffrey shared his excitement about Luke getting drafted
In June 2024, when Luke was drafted by the Washington Commanders, his older brother Christian opened up about his sibling and prayed for his success. The 49ers player was proud of his younger sibling and said (via NBC Sports):
"Yeah, that was awesome, man. It was emotional. It was so cool -- he's like the little brother, you know. [It] kind of hit me when I saw his name go across the board. Like, damn. Luke's playing in the NFL.
"I was just so proud of him, and I know how hard he's worked. I know the journey he's been on. I know the the ups and the downs that he's gone through, and he's done nothing but persevere through them. So I'm fired up for him, and hopefully he has a lot of success," he added.
The McCaffrey family has a strong connection with the NFL. Christian's father, Ed McCaffrey, was a three-time Super Bowl winner. Christian has three brothers: Max, Dylan and Luke, and all of them have actively played the game, walking in their father's footsteps.
While Christian and Luke are making waves in the professional NFL, Dylan was the quarterback for the University of Michigan Wolverines, and Max played for the Duke Blue Devils and is currently working for the Miami Dolphins as an offensive assistant.
