After being sidelined for eight weeks due to bilateral Achilles tendinitis, Christian McCaffrey is back on the roster for the game between the San Franciso 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. McCaffrey's wife Olivia Culpo is also back in attendance to cheer for him.
The former Miss Universe took to Instagram and posted a selfie with her close friend and family. Among them were 49ers tight end George Kittle's wife Claire Kittle, McCaffrey’s sister-in-law Kathleen Messier and celebrity photographer Lucio Andreozzi.
"GAME TIME," Culpo captioned.

At the start of the season, McCaffrey's availability was uncertain and he was placed on injured reserve indefinitely. However, he visited a specialist in Germany and underwent rigorous rehab to bounce back to his previous form.
San Francisco 49ers made a bittersweet move to make a place for Christian McCaffrey
Patrick Taylor Jr., who was signed by the 49ers in April, has been waived by the 49ers to accommodate Christian McCaffrey in the 53-man roster.
Taylor played in eight games and recorded 25 yards on seven carries. Moreover, he caught one pass and gained 12 yards.
For McCaffrey, the recovery would not have been possible without the entire organization's support, including 49ers general manager John Lynch, Kyle Shanahan and the medical team.
