Christian McCaffrey's wife Olivia Culpo turns emotional as people come together for LA wildfire relief

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey's wife Olivia Culpo has opened up about her feelings on the raging wildfires in Los Angeles, California. For the past week, the fires have destroyed thousands of structures, mostly homes in its path of destruction. Residents of the area are left to try and salvage what is left and rebuild their lives.

Culpo, who lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband, reshared a touching video. The clip showed people working together to get supplies and volunteers ensuring that those impacted have basic everyday necessities. Culpo shared in the caption how the touching video brought her to tears.

"This made me cry. So unbelievable seeing everyone come together like this," Culpo wrote on Monday.

Culpo also went through the GoFundMe site and found verified accounts of families who need donations. She encouraged her followers to give back in whatever capacity they could to help them.

Olivia Culpo sent prayers to LA community as fires came close to home

On Friday, Olivia Culpo shared a carousel of heartbreaking photos of the Los Angeles County wildfires. In her caption, she called the area her community and how heartbroken she was to see its destruction.

She also praised the first responders who put their lives on the line to protect others and tried to save their homes.

"I’m praying so hard for our community. My heart aches for everyone who has lost so much so fast. It’s just unimaginable. 💔To our heroes on the ground and in the sky, thank you for your sacrifice and service working around the clock to protect us, our homes, animals, businesses, wild life. We are forever grateful for your bravery and dedication," Culpo captioned.

The former Miss Universe had a home in Los Angeles for many years before she and Christian McCaffrey purchased a new one in Studio City, California, last year — the former home of actor George Clooney. The Studio City area was evacuated as it is located near the Pacific Palisades and Eaton Fires.

The couple has not issued a statement if their home was impacted by the wildfires.
