Colts owner Jim Irsay donates 5x more than Dan Snyder’s Commanders to Damar Hamlin’s fundraiser as GoFundMe races past the $7M mark

Damar Hamlin’s toy drive fundraiser continues to get donations and has crossed the seven million mark on GoFundMe. Jim Irsay, the owner of the Indianapolis Colts became the top donator in the charity after he donated $25,003 yesterday.

The Washington Commanders owned by Dan Snyder donated $5000 and faced a lot of heat for it. Commanders are up for sale and Snyder has faced backlash from many in the past few years.

Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, also donated $18,003 to the charity yesterday. The Houston Texans also chipped in with a donation of $10k to Damar Hamlin's toy charity, and other players have also chimed in with their money to help the cause.

Tom Brady, Russell Wilson and Sean McVay donated $10k each while Matthew Stafford came up with $12k. Mike Evans, Davante Adams and star rookie Sauce Gardner have donated $5k each as well.

Damar Hamlin is still in critical condition in the hospital and everyone is praying for his recovery. 'The Chasing M's Foundation Community Toy Drive' on GoFundMe started with a goal of $2,500 but is well on its way over the $7 million mark now.

Hopefully, Hamlin will soon be able to see all the donations that his charity has received while he is recovering from an unforeseen health issue.

Vigil Held Following Hospitalization of Buffalo Bills Player Damar Hamlin

Hamlin's health is steadily improving and that is a very great piece of news for everyone. He required 100% of oxygen when he was admitted to the hospital, but as of yesterday, he showed signs of improvement and required only 50% of induced oxygen.

As per Adam Schefter of ESPN:

"Damar Hamlin’s father, Mario Hamlin, addressed the entire Bills team on a zoom call Wednesday to personally update everyone in attendance on his son, per source. Mario Hamlin informed the Bills that Damar was making progress and, in the words of one source, 'the team needed it.'”

People are continuously praying for Hamlin's recovery as he is on the right track. The paramedics did a tremendous job on the field to keep Hamlin alive as nobody was prepared for such an incident.

The game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals has been postponed indefinitely and there is no update regarding when it will take place.
