The Washington Commanders celebrated their 92nd anniversary of becoming an organization this week. In commemoration of the big day, Washington made a big announcement about a uniform change for the 2024 NFL season.
In a post on X, the Washington Commanders announced that their iconic gold pants for their uniform look will make a comeback in 2024. The team referred to the return as putting the gold pants 'back in the rotation,' indicating it wouldn't be a regular look but rather a throwback game.
"Gold pants are officially BACK in our rotation."

The return of the gold pants had the Washington Commanders' fans excited. The comments section on the post included fans sharing their joy for a uniform change.

After the Commanders' announcement of adding gold pants to their uniform look for some games, RG III was excited about the change and even shared a photo of his time with the team wearing the gold pants, but that version had a stripe down the side.
