Tyrique Stevenson and the Chicago Bears endured a tough outing against the Washington Commanders on Sunday. The game between the first two picks of the 2024 NFL Draft delivered, with both Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels making great plays - but also enduring tough moments, as expected from rookie quarterbacks.

However, the end of the game will be remembered for a long time. The Commanders allowed a late touchdown and received the ball back with 25 seconds remaining and losing 15-12. The only way to win the game was through a hail mary. But that's exactly what happened.

After the dust settled, it emerged on social media a video that will have major repercussions around Chicago Bears fans. Second-year cornerback Tyrique Stevenson was seen provoking the Commanders fans right before the Hail Mary. However, instant karma hit him, and NFL fans laughed a lot about the situation:

"29 was the one that tipped it to him too", noted a fan.
"29 gotta be cut. Dancing in front of fans during play and then tips it to Brown", asked one fan.
"29 yapping at the sideline/fans. Feels good to win that one", added another.
"Stevenson had it coming", resumed a final one.

With the loss, the Chicago Bears fell to 4-3, sitting at last place in the NFC North but still with good chances of making the playoffs as a wild card. The Commanders, on the other hand, improved to 6-2 and are leading the NFC East, as the Philadelphia Eagles sit behind with 5-2.

Is Tyrique Stevenson a good player? What are his stats?

Although the situation doesn't look good for the defender, lots of NFL analysts agree that he's an up-and-coming player. He started all 16 games as a rookie for Chicago and impressed with four interceptions and 16 passes defended. His duo with Jaylon Johnson was noted by analysts as one of the best of the season.

In five games in 2024, he has already noted an interception and two defended passes. The numbers are good, but the attitude needs to improve as well, especially with the Chicago Bears finally hitting high heights.
