It appears the Los Angeles Rams have more than a few questions to answer after an unceremonious exit from the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. The Rams went up against the Philadelphia Eagles but failed to get past what is arguably the best defense left in the playoffs.

After the game, both Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp made some comments that ignited speculation that they could be on their way out of Los Angeles.

"I'll talk about my present," Stafford said after the game, via NFL.com. "Obviously, proud to be associated with this group, coaching staff, front office, group of players, training staff, equipment guys and everybody. It was a hell of an effort all year to get to this point."

Stafford's wife Kelly also made some interesting comments about her husband's future in the league.

For his part, Kupp told reporters in the locker room:

"Who knows what's going to happen. That's out of my control. And we will see what it's going to be. I don't have any clarity on what that's going to look like or anything like that. Obviously would love to be in L.A., but I don't know what that's going to look like."

A day after those comments, Kupp's wife Anna Marie posted a picture of the playmaker in his Rams uniform with the caption:

"Love you infinity."

What Cooper Kupp's contract situation looks like

Like Stafford, Kupp also has two years left on the four-year, $80.1 million contract extension he signed with the franchise in 2022. While Stafford is guaranteed just $4 million in 2025, Kupp is guaranteed $5 million, which means both players can either choose to retire or head to another team if they should choose to call time on their stint in LA.

Per ESPN, if the Rams cut Kupp this summer, they will save $15 million in cash and $7.52 million against the salary cap. However, if they choose to cut Kupp without a post-June 1 designation, they will have to take a $22.2 million hit in dead money. Those numbers would complicate things if both sides are looking for an amicable parting of ways.

In any case, it appears New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne has already started recruiting Kupp to join forces with Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel in Foxborough.
