NFL fans take shots at Dak Prescott with Cowboys QB spotted in Yankees merch

NFL fans weren't pleased with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott as he was seen with New York Yankees merchandise. Prescott was in Nashville to attend Tight End University and arrived wearing a Yankees jersey.

The choice to wear a Yankees jersey was surprising, given that Prescott isn't from New York. The quarterback was born in Louisiana, played college football at Mississippi State and now plays in Dallas, so there is no connection with New York.

Due to Prescott not having a connection to New York, fans took shots at the Cowboys quarterback for wearing a Yankees jersey.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is entering the final year of his contract. However, the quarterback isn't focused on it. Prescott says he doesn't play for money, but he is letting his agent deal with the contract talks as he focuses on football.

"I don't play for money. I have never cared for it to be honest with you. Yeah, I would give it up just to play this game," Prescott told the Cowboys team website.
"I'll allow that to the business people to say what it's worth — what they're supposed to give a quarterback of my play, a person of my play and a leader of my [caliber]. For me, it's about controlling what I can control and handling that part, and the rest will take care of itself."
