Will Daniel Snyder be voted out of ownership of the Washington Commanders?
While pressure builds on the remaining 31 NFL owners to oust him, a new report could indicate that it has become a real possibility. Team owners will meet in Florida ahead of their annual NFL team owners' meeting in Arizona at the end of the month. One topic of discussion on the scheduled agenda for the owners is Daniel Snyder.
A source has confided in the Associated Press that if Snyder doesn't agree to sell the Washington Commanders, the remaining owners are likely to take a vote. 24 of the 31 team owners would need to vote in favor of removing Daniel Snyder as the owner of the Washington Commanders to make it happen.

"The person, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Tuesday because the person wasn’t authorized to release details, said voting to oust Snyder if he chooses not to sell the team remains a possibility."
This past fall, NFL team owners discussed the possibility, with reports that many, including the Indianapolis Colts' Jim Irsay, were in favor. It's believed that some owners won't be in favor of ousting Snyder because of the repercussions it may have in the future.
You could argue that if they toe the line, they have nothing to fear, but some appear to see it as a dangerous precedent to set.
Daniel and Tanya Snyder did hire Bank of America Securities this past fall to handle any future transactions involving the team. This had many speculating that a sale was in the works, but that has not materialized. With the couple still maintaining ownership, they may soon be forced to sell.
Did Dan Snyder prevent Jeff Bezos from buying the Washington Commanders?
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has shown interest in becoming the owner of an NFL team over the last few years. His interest in the game led to Amazon Prime purchasing the Thursday Night Football game slot, making it the first streaming service to partner with the NFL.
But Bezos reportedly had the interest and the funding to purchase the Washington Commanders. Dan Snyder apparently wasn't going to let that happen. Bezos, who also owns the Washington Post, has been critical of Snyder and was allegedly blocked from a sale.
Snyder is said to hold a grudge over the Washington Post's coverage of the workplace scandal and the sexual harassment allegations brought against the franchise.
The New York Post's Josh Kosman reported that Snyder prevented Bezos from joining the private auction for the team. Potential bidders apparently had to express their interest in January with a possible auction happening in March. Bezos was reportedly told by Bank of America that he was no longer permitted to bid in the auction.
If Snyder were to allow a sale before the team owners meet in Arizona in a few weeks, a vote wouldn't be needed. Whether he will remains to be seen.
