Jordan Love was injured in the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. Since then, he has been surrounded by rumors and speculation regarding his potential return date. The young quarterback only played this game and saw Malik Willis lead the Packers to consecutive wins after he picked up the injury.

One week after he returned to practice, Love retook the pitch with the Packers. This was deemed a good sign last week, but it's still unclear if he'll be back on the field for Week 4.

Fans on X started speculating and discussing whether Love will return as soon as this Sunday.

"Would guess Love plays but enough ambiguity that prep for Willis makes sense, too," one fan tweeted.
"All half speed so not really testing his agility but nothing here looks bad. We’ll see how he progresses through the week, but if he plays his passing numbers should be fine," another fan tweeted.

"Definitely playing," a fan tweeted.

Others said that although he's practicing, Willis will be the starting quarterback for another week.

"He is not going to play. Matt is smart enough coach to know not to bring an injured QB in against this Minnesota defense. It's just a smoke screen. It's going to be Malik," one fan tweeted.

Jordan Love explains what it'd take for him to return to the field

Last week, Jordan Love got honest on what he's missing to complete a return to the field. The talented playmaker explained what steps he must complete to be good to go and who will be making the ultimate call.

"It's a lot of boxes [to check]," Love said (per Green Bay Packers beat writer for The Athletic Matt Schneidman).

"Obviously, I think, get back to practice and reunite and just feel what it feels like to take those drops, be in the live fire, but like I say, we take it day-by-day the trainers are doing a good job of monitoring me and seeing how I'm doing and how I'm reacting to every play. They'll be the ones to clear me when the time comes."

The Packers bounced back from an erratic performance against the Eagles with two wins against the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans. Malik Willis led both victories throwing for 324 yards and two touchdowns. Time will tell if Love takes the pitch or if Willis can continue his good moment.
