"Creepy and revolting": NFL fans outraged as comedian calls Travis Kelce "next O.J. Simpson," takes aim at Taylor Swift at MAGA rally

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been at the receiving end of many jokes, but comedian Tony Hinchcliffe really crossed all boundaries with his vile comments during former President Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden rally. He made some disparaging comments about the celebrity couple, where he said Travis Kelce might be the next OJ Simpson, the former NFL player who was infamously tried and acquitted for allegedly murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.

However, NFL fans did not find this funny and expressed their disgust at his comments. One fan said that the joke about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift was "creepy."

"The Swift part is also creepy and revolting."

Another fan hit back at the comedian for making a joke about something as sensitive as murder.

"So... lightly veiled murder fantasy?"

"What is wrong with these people? Seriously, I need an explanation of what mental illness they suffer from to be so openly vile," one fan wrote.

"There is no universe in which joking about a man potentially murdering his girlfriend is funny. This is the current Republican party for you. Domestic violence is apparently hilarious," another fan responded.

"No reasonable person - no matter their political bent- would think this "joke" is funny. It's disgusting and abhorrent," one fan posted.

"Well this is horrifying and misogynist," another fan said.

Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole stirs controversy by liking social media post

Kayla Nicole's social media activities were under scrutiny after she liked a meme that featured Bob the Builder with a wig. The meme read:

"Me after building a man for another girl."

Her liking the post could indicate that she related to what was being said in the meme and the fan responses insinuate that she thought that she "built" Travis Kelce during their relationship only to have him break up with her and date Taylor Swift.

This is not the first time she's been scrutinized in connection with her ex-boyfriend. She was criticized on social media for speaking with WNBA star Angel Reese about her breakup with the Chiefs star.

"I thought that I handled things with grace. Thought that I answered the questions to the best of my ability. The public had their interpretation of things — didn’t matter to me."

Only time will tell when football fans will stop attacking her for her past relationship from which both parties have moved on.
