Antonio Brown's career in the NFL catapulted into the ground after his last stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Over the past few months, Brown has been in the news for bizarre comments, including various shots taken against Tom Brady (and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen). Apparently headed to retirement, Brown is now looking to buy a football team.
As per recent reports, Brown is looking to buy an AFL team. While it might or might not go through, reports are hinting at a possible sale of Albany Empire of the National Arena League.
Fans, however, aren't impressed with AB's latest venture.

Fans ended up blaming his CTE, stating that this was certainly not the team sale news they were looking for. It could be connected to the Washington Commanders, who will probably see a change in ownership soon.
Considering the former QB's recent comments, fans wondered if the team wants to work with him as the owner. Of course, Tom Brady comments were mentioned, with one fan asking the NFL icon to broadcast these games.
Brady, who recently retired (for the second time), is looking at a 10-year, $375 million Fox Sports deal. After playing together in Buccaneers, Brown went ahead and called out Brady and the team.
Antonio Brown is excited about his new AFL venture
After the announcement of his new venture, Brown ended up sharing his statement about the same. While fans might not be on board with him being a team owner, the 34-year-old remains excited about starting a new career stream.
“Imagining buying your father's team you saw him be the greatest AFL player all-time over Kurt Warner, so for me to bring the community back give opportunities, help others live their dreams, and to be a part of greatness of something bigger than me, I’m excited!”
However, Brown apparently made a mistake while talking about the team. Radio anchor Peter Schwartz fixed Brown's error:
"They didn't buy his father's team. This is not the Albany Firebirds...it's the Albany Empire...a different team in a different league."
That being said, Antonio Brown might officially be done with the NFL. According to MLFootball on Twitter, Brown responded with the word 'legacy' when asked about his retirement.
