Dak Prescott's fiancée Sarah Jane fell victim to a high-profile burglary on Boxing Day and reportedly suffered significant monetary losses. According to Sydney Persing of WFAA, she was going to the gym and was hurriedly escorted in due to the rain. She apparently forgot to lock her car door in haste.
It became apparent something was wrong after Sarah Jane was notified that her credit cards were being used at other locations. She came out to find that other valuable items had been stolen from her car. As per a Dallas Police Department report,
"Several pieces of property (were) stolen that amounts to close to $40,000 in estimated worth, including designer handbags and wallets from Chanel, YSL, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada, as well as computer software and cash."

Dak Prescott's fiancée Sarah Jane merely the latest in a stream of burglaries targeting NFL players
Dak Prescott's fiancée became the latest high-profile name associated with the NFL to be burgled in recent months.
The Chiefs' star duo of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were the first to be targeted, losing material worth $20,000. It came in the first week of October before Kansas City hosted the New Orleans Saints. The quarterback was the first to suffer a day before the game and that was followed up with the tight end getting burgled when he was on the field helping his team get to a 5-0 record.
The Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was next and it came during a Monday Night Football game against the Cowboys. It was a scary situation and there were people there whose safety felt jeopardized even though the player was away. The Cincinnati star later commented how he felt his privacy had been violated. Jets star Aaron Rodgers was among those to add his voice to mounting concerns after that incident, highlighting that his address, too, had been leaked.
The latest incident involving Sarah Jane shows such incidents are becoming more commonplace. A security expert told WFAA that there might be a network of professional thieves targeting NFL players and their loved ones in an orchestrated manner. This also expands the ambit of such criminal activities beyond the football stars themselves; Dak Prescott was not targeted but his partner was.
All of them have happened in the absence of the NFL players in question. Next week will be the last time this season that everyone will be on the field before the playoffs begin.
