Top three landing spots for Dalvin Cook

Using the odds from the odds checker, here are the top three landing spots for the Minnesota Vikings running back. We will be ranking from least to favorite fit:

#3 Denver Broncos

The Sean Payton experience at Denver will soon kick off, but first, Payton needs a versatile running back to help Russell Wilson in tight spots. The Broncos could trade up in the 2023 NFL to select Jahmyr Gibbs, the best dual-threat RB for this year's class, or trade for an established NFL player.

Few running backs are as versatile as Dalvin Cook, and we can only imagine the difference he could make on a dire Denver Broncos franchise. Cook could instantly become the second or third-best receiving threat on the side. He would also be entering a team with a solid offensive line and an elite coach with Sean Payton at the wheel.

#2 Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are stacked from defense to offense in Pro Bowl talent, and it won't be a stretch to say that they're the third most complete franchise in the NFL. Only the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers have better on-paper rosters than the Bills, and guess what: the Bills need to improve at the running back position.

The Bills could address that deficiency by moving a few picks and making the trade for a 5,993 rushing yard player in Cook. Dalvin Cook has put up four consecutive 1,000-plus yards seasons with the Vikings. Just imagine what he could do with the Bills? Moreso, his addition could take the pressure off Josh Allen from rushing the ball as frequently as he does.

#1 Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are head over heels for the winners of the 2023 NFL off-season. They added Jalen Ramsey to an already elite secondary and have buffed up their roster by adding key pieces in the skill positions. What's left for the Dolphins? That's right: the addition of an elite running back.

Dalvin Cook ticks that box, as the FSU alum is easily one of the most dynamic players in his position. He has a career stat line of 1282 rush attempts, 5,993 rushing yards and 47 ground touchdowns.

He has also amassed 1,794 receiving yards and five touchdowns for good measure. Just imagine an offense of Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jalen Waddle and Dalvin Cook. Simply put, Mike McDaniel will have no excuses for not taking the team on a deep postseason run.
