Damar Hamlin officially reports to Bills facility for first time since hospital discharge

Damar Hamlin, a 24-year-old sixth-round draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft for the Buffalo Bills, has returned to the Buffalo Bills facility in Orchard Park, N.Y. for the first time since his hospital discharge.

12 days after collapsing in Week 17 on Monday Night Football, Hamlin has shown continuous resiliency since suffering an on-field cardiac arrest. The defensive back from the University of Pittsburgh has brought together more than just football fans and has been an example of courage throughout the last two weeks.

Against the New England Patriots last weekend, the Bills' first game since Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest, Nyheim Hines returned the game's opening kickoff for a touchdown, putting the crowd into a frenzy in honor of their player. The entire Bills' team wore Hamlin's #3 on their jerseys and some players carried flags as a tribute to their teammate.

The Buffalo Bills play at home Sunday against the Miami Dolphins in this NFL Wild Card Round weekend, marking the start of a potential playoff run.
