Davante Adams helped Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets end their five-game losing streak after their 21-13 win over the Houston Texans. His two touchdowns helped the Jets improve to 3-6 and move ahead of the Dolphins in the AFC East.

In today's episode of "Up and Adams," the Jets wideout spoke about the feeling in the locker room, especially how Aaron Rodgers was feeling after the much-needed victory.

"It's real similar to, I think it was 2016, run the table type. Just that type of energy."

In 2016 when the star pair were playing for the Green Bay Packers, the team started the season 4-6 but went on to win six straight games to close out the year.

Adams said that in the Texans game, he and the entire team "locked in" during the second half. He also mentioned that the key to winning more games would be to sustain that effort and they will become a "dangerous" team.

Davante Adams gives props to interim HC Jeff Ulbrich

During the conversation with Kay Adams, Davante Adams also spoke highly of interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich. When asked what set the coach apart, the Jets wideout said:

"When he gets at the podium, he has to do it like a coach. I love talking to him, I love the way he talks to the team, love the way he holds guys accountable. I love the way he goes about his job, it makes it more like a family-type vibe."

The Jets' top brass is yet to find a person to take on the head coach responsibilities for the long term but shied away from making any comments about whether Ulbrich would be instated as the permanent HC. But Davante Adams said that he has confidence in Ulbrich and would love it if he was upgraded to permanent head coach.

The next week, the Jets will be up against the Arizona Cardinals. Can the team continue to win games or will the Texans game just prove to be an anomaly? Jets fans are hoping its the former.
